Much like the contortion of Patriotism into (radical) Nationalism.
Very real and powerful messages. The symbolic flag appears to stand so proud but the distinctly lopsided reflection portrays true reality for me. We are slip sliding away.
And, Simon’s song would provide an emotionally rich and relevant background for the emotionally stark architectural imagery of the post. Worth a listen if its been awhile.
