Late morning Fog lingers over the city.
The dreams of millions of souls exhaled
Into thin air,
Lost in harsh reality.

Harsh reality indeed. Shades of Carl Sandburg here, from his Chicago work. That said, in 2016 it is Nadia Butler who is laying it down.
